Functieomschrijving

As a Project Engineer Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific discipline’s scope within a project, leading a team and managing the scope, timeline, and budget. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality design, compliance with regulations, and coordination with other disciplines. You will contribute to the department’s growth by mentoring colleagues and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and requirements.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to assess manufacturability and feasibility.
• Support the Project Manager Engineering (PME) in defining and managing the project scope.
• Approve designs, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Identify technical bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Guide and mentor engineers, ensuring quality control of all project documentation.
• Participate in site and customer meetings, ensuring alignment with their expectations.
• Coordinate work within the engineering team and with subcontractors.
• Monitor the project’s progress and update the PME on developments.
• Liaise with suppliers and production teams for feedback and equipment interface details.

Functie-eisen

• Experience in yacht building preferred.
• Knowledge of Team Center NX is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
