Functieomschrijving

We are looking for a Functional Application Manager to oversee the functional aspects of business applications. In this role, you will address operational challenges, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with solution providers to implement improvements. You will also contribute to the strategic development of applications by providing expertise, verifying specifications, and shaping the roadmap for continuous enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
• Support application usage by enhancing and optimizing (engineering) applications for business needs.
• Develop specifications to improve both existing and new applications.
• Ensure smooth application performance and execution.
• Analyze and resolve issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Report software bugs and coordinate with external suppliers for resolution.
• Advise stakeholders on the impact of application issues and improvements.
• Verify and enhance application functionality.
• Provide user support and assistance.
• Test enhancements before deployment to ensure stability.
• Contribute to documentation, including training materials and user guides.
• Act as a bridge between IT and business units, leveraging knowledge of both business processes and IT capabilities.

Functie-eisen

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate staff department.
• Experience in application maintenance within a technical, complex engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Experience with 3DX Dassault Systems or SAP is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
