Our client is an innovative and dynamic company operating in the fruit and vegetable industry. They are a European importer specializing in mangoes and avocados. The company offers an informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication. Their expertise lies in receiving, ripening, packaging, and distributing mangoes and avocados.

Functieomschrijving

As an experienced forklift driver, you will work for a specialist in the fruit and vegetable (AGF) sector. With your precise way of working, you ensure that the right products end up in the right place. If you see a fellow forklift driver moving pallets, you will naturally lend a helping hand. Teamwork and collegiality are therefore highly valued within the company. For this position, it is important that you are comfortable working in a chilled environment of approximately 10°C.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out quality checks in a correct and careful manner
• Moving and storing goods in the correct locations
• Working in a structured and safe way with the forklift

You will work weekdays from 06:30 to 16:00 (with possible overtime when required) and are expected to work one Saturday per month. Overtime worked above 38 hours per week is paid at 135% of the regular hourly rate.

Functie-eisen

• Experience as a forklift driver
• Good command of both Dutch and English
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Full-time availability and looking for a permanent position
• Own transportation
• Living in or around Rotterdam, The Hague, Zoetermeer, or Bleiswijk

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Starting salary of €16.21 gross per hour
