Our client is an engineering firm where you’ll get the chance to work with cutting-edge 3D engineering tools, including CAD programs, as well as Augmented and Virtual Reality. Together with a team of 30 specialists, you will work on the design of piping and ventilation systems for luxury yachts.

Functieomschrijving

As a Junior Engineer, you will start an intensive onboarding programme on 1 September 2025. You’ll receive guided tours of the shipyards and learn everything you need to know about the 3D design software Cadmatic. After that, the real work begins!

You will be working on unique projects every day, using the latest technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality. The company also actively integrates AI to support engineering and installation processes.

Your tasks will include:

• Designing piping for systems such as ventilation and sanitary facilities;
• As every yacht is unique, it’s your responsibility to design piping that perfectly fits the available space;
• Creating detailed drawings, schematics, and 3D models, including Isometrics.

Functie-eisen

As a Junior Engineer, you bring:

• A completed vocational or technical diploma at post-secondary level (equivalent to EQF level 4) in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic;
• You are available as of 1 September 2025;
• Basic experience with 2D and 3D CAD software;
• A solution-oriented mindset and a strong sense of quality;
• Eagerness to learn and a curious nature;
• Excellent communication skills in English and willing to learn Dutch.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Depending on your experience, you can expect:

• A gross monthly salary between €2.900,- and €3.500,- based on a full-time position;
• The opportunity to work with innovative systems such as Augmented and Virtual Reality and AI tools (training provided);
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;
• An inspiring and informal work environment where you can see the tangible results of your engineering efforts;
• 28 vacation days per year based on a full-time position.
