Functieomschrijving

The certified welder will be responsible for welding pipe penetrations installed by the steelworker directly onboard.

• You weld pipe penetrations on-site (onboard the vessel), as installed by the steelworker
• You use welding processes such as TIG or MIG/MAG, depending on project planning
• You work according to shipyard safety and quality standards
• You collaborate with other trades and follow technical drawings and specifications

Functie-eisen

• Approximately 3+ years of work-experience in the field of welding
• a valid TIG welding certificate
• B category driving license
• Able to communicate in English B1/B2 level;
• You have VCA ( you can also obtain it via Maintec)

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Weekly salary between €600 and €650 net, based on a 40 hour work week;
• A contract based on 40-hours with long-term intentions
• Salary payments in accordance with Dutch laws and regulations.
• Building up your pension from the first day of work;
• You accumulate 20 vacation days with a full year of full-time work;
• 8,33% holiday allowance per year - paid in May.
