AF1 Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird USAF 1/72 diecast metal new

Air Force 1 diecast metalen model SR-71A in schaal 1:72 in nieuwstaat. Alle onderdelen en standaard inbegrepen. Het model is erg zwaar, maar ook zeer gedetailleerd. Het enige wat nog hoeft te worden gemonteerd, is het in de gleuven schuiven van de verticale stabilisatoren en het model is compleet. Dit exemplaar staat in het Dayton Ohio Air Force Museum en heeft staartnummer 17976 met de afbeelding van de grommende kattenstaart.

Enkele informatie over het specifieke toestel: 976 was de eerste SR-71 die op een operationele missie vloog; Ed Payne en Jerry O'Malley vlogen ermee over Vietnam op donderdag 21 maart 1968. 22 jaar later werd ze de laatste merel die naar een museum werd gevlogen, toen Don Watkins en Bob Fowlkes haar op woensdag 27 maart 1990 naar het Air Force Museum op Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, vlogen.

Air Force 1 diecast scale metal model SR-71A in 1:72 in new condition. All parts and stand included. Model is very heavy but also highly detailed. Only assembly needed is slotting the vertical stabilisers into their slots and the model is complete. This one is in the Dayton Ohio air force museum and is tail number 17976 with the snarling cat tail art.

Some information about the specific aircraft: 976 was the first SR-71 to be flown on an operational mission; Ed Payne and Jerry O'Malley flew her over Viet Nam on Thursday, March 21, 1968. 22 years later she became the last blackbird to be flown to a museum, when Don Watkins and Bob Fowlkes flew her to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 27, 1990.
