Heb er een aantal van kunnen vinden op het internet, waarvan dit de enige is die compleet is met draagstuk om hem op een kanon of kompasrichttoestel te kunnen plaatsen.

Bussolen-Richtkreisfernrohr (Compass-Directional Scope) - Visier Fernrohr 4x12, produced by Carl Zeiss for Fußartillerie (Foot Artillery), in about 1898, in an estimate of only 1000 specimens.
The first version has the marking "Carl Zeiss Jena" and "4 Fussartillerie" on the ocular cover in handscript and dates from the beginning of the 20th century (c. 1902/03) until 1904.
Latere specimen are already marked with the Zeiss lens logo, some bear the designation "V.F." (Visier-Fernrohr = aiming sight) and "n/A" (neue Art = new kind).
Both variants have cross-hairs.
The X-shaped reticle is inflexible in a fix-focus eyepiece (f = 10m) of the early version.
The later version comes with a adjustment ring with a 0-10 scale on the eyepiece to move the cross-haris sideways.
The reticle then had an extra vertical line
