Vintage Parker Vacumatic fountain pen.
First generation, standard size.
In the configuration Emerald Green laminated.
Incredibly transparent Barrel, almost as originally (see detailed pictures) and filling 100%.
From 1936 (small "26" engraved on barrel, second quarter of 1936).
Vacumatic Filler - Lock-Down fill metal plunger.
Polished celluloid plastic, transparent barrel and gold plated trims.
Triple cap gold plated bands.
Arrow clip engraved Regd. Nº --- (Note the clip shows a base repair/soldered angle).
Conical cap and barrel jewels in laminated celluloid plastic, matching the pen body pattern/colour.
Original branded Vacumatic, 14K gold nib, TWO-tone fine tip "F" (seems so) and engraved "14K- PARKER - VACUMATIC - REG. TM. - MADE IN CANADA (this is very likely/not visible).
The barrel is engraved too (obvious wear from use, but still fully readable with some effort): Made in Canada - VACUMATIC - Reg n.--- - 26.
The nib feed and grip section are original and in hard rubber.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage used pen, emerald green colour and laminated shades perfectly conserved and vivid, as originally, no fading or darkening anywhere, filling perfectly with a 100% capacity of barrel (tested) and good writer, remarkable transparent Barrel, almost as when new (see detailed Demo pictures - will make a very nice addition to any collection. However, please note and consider the following wear/imperfections: obvious base ring repair/soldered at the angle (very sturdy/won't break); nib has lost most of its two-tone platinum "mask", but still slightly noticeable on a couple spots; barrel engraving with obvious wear from use, but really present and still fully readable with some effort (detailed picture); wear/brassing to both jewels rings and clip more exposed edges and point (not on cap rings); the filling system metal plunger seems a replacement, but works flawlessly. Otherwise, excellent vintage overall and no flaws: few insignificant and softened micro scratches. Indeed very shiny all over plastics and metal parts (slightly buffed to recover original shine and beauty). No dents, no dings or scuffs to the cap and barrel. No cracks or repairs. Cap lip also free of cracks. No deformation to cap and barrel. Cap rings perfect with no wear to the GP. Perfect laminated both jewels, no wear or cracks, matching exactly the body pattern. Nib is excellent - no obvious scratches, no cracks or deformations, aligned and adjusted and with plenty iridium on tip, very crisp engravings. Smooth, spring loaded action of the filler, locking firmly in place retracted. Filling fully and easily with 100% capacity of barrel ink amount, super visible through the barrel transparency. Writing perfectly with good ink flow. No leaks or blots. Very clean inside transparent barrel. Cap screws smoothly and posts nicely on back when open.
