A wine from one of the first vineyards planted with Graciano in Castilla-La Mancha. Crafted with the aim of achieving the fullest expression of the Dominio de Valdepusa terroir, it employs methods that prioritize ecological balance. Minimal intervention in the winery results in an attractive, velvety, and highly polished wine with excellent aging potential, capable of enhancing dishes such as bluefin tuna.

Tasting Notes
Appearance
Intense cherry-red color, very deep, characteristic of a wine with great aging potential.
Nose
Complex aromas, skillfully combining ripe fruit with spicy, balsamic, and floral notes (violets). Palate
On the palate, it is powerful, well-balanced, and flavorful, silky, with a gentle acidity and abundant ripe tannins, resulting in a fleshy and velvety mouthfeel.
Serving Temperature
16°C.
Best before 2024 if stored properly.
Food Pairing
An excellent choice to accompany bluefin tuna.
Vineyard and Winemaking
Description
Vineyards located 500 meters above sea level and cultivated prioritizing the ecological balance of the land.
Soil
Composed of a subsoil of limestone originating from the Cretaceous period at a depth of 2 meters or more. A thin layer of clay, barely 15 cm thick, rests on top of this. This structure, due to its porosity and drainage, is internationally considered ideal for the production of great wines.
Climate
Continental climate, typical of the central plateau of the Iberian Peninsula. The contrasts are striking, not only between the cold winters and the long summer, but also between night and day.
Harvest
Hand-harvested, with meticulous selection of the best bunches both in the vineyard and upon arrival.
Winemaking
Made using a personalized, minimal-intervention winemaking technique, sensitive to the unique characteristics of the vineyard. Destemmed and gravity-fed into fermentation tanks. Extended maceration for 4 to 5 weeks.
Aging
Aged for 20 months in new and semi-new French oak barrels.
