Always one of daiwa ‘s most popular reels, the legalis retains its winning recipe while further improving value for money even lighter, even smoother and more precise in operation.
The airdrive design construction concept, borrowed from daiwas top-of-the-line reels and applied to the rotor and bow, now allows for a reel that is lighter, but more importantly, more pleasant to use while fishing.
The lighter yet stronger rotor-rod system allows for smoother and more fluid retrieval and better control of the bait due to minimized rotational inertia.
The clutch is also all new: the atd-l is the latest evolution of daiwa’s automatic progressive clutches (atd).
It now reacts even more smoothly and progressively, reducing mechanical stress on the fishing line.
