Scottish pink & Green mottled glass bowl, reminiscent of the colors of the Flower of Scotland - Thistle or Heather on the moors.
Made by Vasart glass manufacturers of Scotland, circa 1946 - 1956, signed to base.
This is probably a Pattern number B002.
Approx size is 11cm D x 3.5cm height.
Salvador Ysart and two of his sons, Vincent and Augustine, started the factory in 1946. The name of the glass manufacturer Vasart comes from the initials 'V', 'A' and 'S' plus 'art' from Ysart.
Catherine Ysart, Vincent's wife, used acid to sign the base of each piece with a flowing script until 1956.
The Piece is in very good, used condition,
No Chips No Cracks, light signs of wear - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
