Vintage wall Plate, Hand Made in Norway Trifa Squared plate - A gorgeous plate with a female Sámi shepherd and Raindeer, set in an icy landscape with mountains in the distance. Circa 1960's.

The Sámi are the traditionally Sámi-speaking people inhabiting the region of Sápmi, which today encompasses large northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and of the Kola Peninsula in Russia.

Mid Century squared enamelled plate approx size is 23cm diameter.

Has the original sticker on the back, along with the number "734" (the plate shape number?) and the word "Samejente" Meaning: "Sámi Girl"

The Piece is in very good, used condition, No big Chips No Cracks, light signs of use including a few tiny nibbles to the edge as expected for its age - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
