Vintage Art Deco Ashtray / Pen Tidy / Desk Tray. This Art Deco ceramic Ashtray is brightly decorated, I have always used it as a Pen holder because I didn't want to damage the hand painted finish.

This Art Deco, circa 1930's, ceramic Ashtray is brightly decorated,

I have always used it as a Pen holder because I didn't want to damage the hand painted finish.

It is glazed in pale mottled green, with hand painted decoration in orange / Brown / dark green.

The design features angular geometric triangle / blocks dots and a wavy line.

ART DECO period piece by AVON WARE.

Iconic Art Deco ceramic with its angular styling styling.

A typical palette of colours featuring mottled greens, burnt umber and burnt orange.

It can be used as an Ashtray, a Pen Tray or Desk tidy. Pens NOT included.

It was made in England by Avon Ware and has a clear impressed mark and a stamp on the base. The Piece is in good, used condition, No Cracks, light signs of use a small chip on the triangular corner - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
