Image 1: this delightful plate has a crisp image transfer printed in a rich plum color. The plate features a border of flowers and foliage hand painted in a brilliant pink luster. The central transfer is of a woman primping in front of a mirror whilst two others attend to a fallen chair. The kitchen fire burns bright. Silks and satins scarlet and velvets put out the kitchen fire. Condition is very good. Plates like these were given as gifts to children on special occasions and were used as educational tools, as well. A lovely and rare addition to your collection.
