The Ventura Pottery Gallery, both the Online Store and the physical location at the Ventura Harbor Village, 1567 Spinnaker Drive, #105, Ventura, CA are venues for members of the Ventura County Potters’ Guild (VCPG).

Ventura County Potters' Guild: The VCPG, founded in 1957, is a nonprofit organization committed to stimulating public interest in ceramic arts by providing networking, education and sales opportunities in an inclusive environment for all levels and interests. We are professional and recreational potters and ceramists, instructors from local high schools and colleges, and people interested in ceramics in the Ventura County area.

Caring For Your Pottery: All functional food-service items are made with food-safe materials, unless stated otherwise. Most items are microwave and dishwasher safe; please refer to the specific item description for more information. While most pieces are dishwasher safe, many of our customers prefer to hand wash their hand-crafted items. Pieces marked oven-safe can be used to cook food in your oven, but not on the stovetop. Your ceramic piece has been fired to over 2000F and should hold up well in your oven, but never put a cold ceramic piece from the refrigerator directly into a hot oven. A rapid change in temperature can cause cracking. Better to place your room-temperature ceramic piece, filled with delicious food, into a cold oven and heat to the temperature specified in your recipe.
