Beschrijving
Tinned sheet iron with soldered joints. This has the original red-painted background with black wave line detail. The flowers are on panels of pail green with yellow, pink / red, and white flowers accented with green leaf designs, Kitchenalia.
Handpainted / decoration in the country style, I believe this is called Toleware. I would think this to be late 19th or early 20th Century judging by the style of the box and painting.
It has a soldered hinge and a copper / brass knob to the lid.
Approx size is 12cm x 9cm x 6cm
Wear to the base, this has a very tight fitting lid, in good overall condition.
Small Box 3
