Late 19th/Early 20th century Chinese Qing Porcelain/Enamel Painted Porcelain teapot
A remarkable enamel painted porcelain teapot with an attribution mark on the base. It features a depiction of two women collecting flowers in a garden with a blossoming cherry tree in the background. On the other side of the teapot, there is a poem about a dream (some of the logographs we can read are: Born, Dream, Fallen Flowers, Branch, People). There is also hand painted calligraphic text around the rim.
The overall colour palette is soft, exuding an elegant traditional Chinese style.
There is some signs of wear consistent with age, some gilt gold and enamel wear as shown on photos, otherwise it is in great condition and very well preserved. Please note that the lid and one of the two handles are missing.
