Art deco White Bakelite Nail Manicure Pedicure Vanity Box Set.
Art deco Bakelite Nail Manicure Pedicure Vanity Box Set. Bakelite was an early for of Plastic and very popular.
This delightful manicure set of implements is a real piece of Art Deco styling.
The case is made from cream Bakelite and consists of a nail buffing brush (with replaceable cloth insert) which is more complete with its own box / cover, a circular lidded pot for cream and three tools for filing and cleaning etc. Inside
the hinged box is a purple velvet fitted sectional base, where the buffing brush, pot and 3 tools rest.
There are occasional marks on the tools and box possibly from nail polish.
All the pieces are in good vintage condition. This is as far as I can tell a complete set.
The Box is approx 19cm x 11.5cm x 3.5cm.
The set is in good, used condition, No Chips No Cracks, light signs of use consistent with age and use. - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
