Rama & Sita Wooden praying sculpture Pratima, The statues depicts Lord Rama and Goddess Sita symbolizing their divine presence and grace. The statues are believed to bring blessings of peace, prosperity, and protection to the devotees' homes creating a sacred and auspicious atmosphere.

The polychrome paint is in excellent condition with very little flaking or chipping,
An exquisite example of Balinese temple carving, perfect for the collector of Balinese or Southeast Asian art. The finish is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, capturing the expressions, attire, and accessories of each with precision. The facial features, jewelry, and ornaments are intricately designed to enhance the beauty and symbolism of the statues. The Pratima statues which are gold painted are only destined to be displayed in houses and private temples of of a higher “kaste”.

This set comes from Denpasar / Bali. The patina of the wood has a beautiful appearance. Pratima are unique statues of wood and the dimensions are approximately: (both statues almost identical) 21x5x6cm (HxWxD) These statues come from my private collection and the cracks have been present for 10 years and are not getting worse. For the knowledge look carefully at the photos that do not lie about the authenticity and age of this beautiful pair!
