Signed Robert Patrick painted acrylic over vinyl textile fiber art, 1991. Bands of textile are dynamically woven within another and a frame. The fabric has been painted blue, green and magenta. The artist signed and dated the back. The richly woven and embellished fabric captures the spirt of the Nineteen-Laties with it’s glamorous folds and energetic hues. The woven piece wraps around the frame moving from the second to third dimension. The piece is in essence a painted sculpture, in relief.
