Marie Charlot is known as one of the finest artists with a keen sense of popular history. From the
New Jersey shore, she has researched the archives of Atlantic City history creating the beautiful beach
scenes of yesteryear. The strolling ladies with parasols, the famous Boardwalk, the jitney chairs, the
posturing gentleman, are all rendered in magnificent oils.

Her impressionistic technique makes liberal use of the art palette knife to add a sense of subtlety to her
works.
