Poen de Wijs "Carnaval der Dieren" litho werktekening

"Carnaval der Dieren" is een kleurenlitho (8 kleuren) van de befaamde kunstschilder van het Realisme, Poen de Wijs (1948-2014). In 2013 tekende hij de verschillende dieren op de lithosteen. In opdracht van het Steendrukmuseum Valkenswaard maakte ik van dit zeer tijdrovende drukproces een uitgebreide filmdocumentaire. Deze werktekening, die in zwart-wit is, heb ik gefotografeerd. De kleuren werden afzonderlijk (in)gedrukt. Alle kleurenlitho's zijn inmiddels uitverkocht. Echter, dit zwart-wit werkstuk, de werktekening op de lithosteen, is zo fraai, uniek en bijzonder! Niemand anders heeft deze en behoort toe aan de Vijlbrief Collectie, die het cultureel erfgoed van de kunstenaar beheert. Aan de randen van de tekening is de vorm van de lithosteen duidelijk zichtbaar. De Vijlbrief Collectie heeft deze illustratie als hoogwaardige zwart-wit giclée kunstdruk in een zeer beperkte oplage van 8 stuks afgedrukt op Dibond (aluminium), met de afmetingen 52 x 39 cm, en voorzien van een professioneel ophangsysteem. "Carnival of the Animals" is a color lithograph (8 colors) by the renowned painter of Realism, Poen de Wijs (1948-2014). In 2013, he drew the various animals on the litho stone. Commissioned by the Steendruk museum Valkenswaard/The Netherlands, I created an extensive documentary film about this time-consuming work. 
I photographed the working drawing, which is in black and white. The colors were printed separately. All color lithographs are sold out.
