B&W Blueroom Housepods handmade Collector's item,prima staat

Behoeft voor de kenner geen nadere uitleg, zeldzame collector's items van Bowers & Wilkins uit de jaren '90. De Housepod is 1 vd creaties van commercieel directeur Robert Trunz, ook bekend van het legendarische vlaggenschip de Nautilus, "het slakkenhuis".

Housepod is geleverd onder de naam Blueroom, een dochteronderneming van B&W en past in het rijtje Minipod, Housepod, Technopod, Dadababy (elders op Marktplaats voor €7500,- aangeboden).

Fantastische speakers. Klinken ook nog eens goed door de ronde vorm, afgeleid van de 100.000 Euro kostende B&W Nautilus !

These were the original product from Blueroom when they were a subsiduary of B&W loudspeakers, they use B&W drive units, the tweeters were derived from the
800 matrix series speakers and the mid / bass is the classic B&W kevlar unit in black.

They use speakon connectors at rear.

These speakers are not just about looks, they have a very natural, detailed and smooth sound, the cabinet reduces standing waves and the lack of wood gives a very unbox like
sound.

From a design point of view they won the 1995 EISA design award, were featured in numerous style magazines ( Vogue being one ), were pictured on the classic Grid ' Evolver' dance album front cover.
