The Satellit 2100 is like the ultimum perfection in fully analogue shortwave reception. Compared to the Satellit 2000, the predecessor from 1973, the modifications are minor. Apart from the color, this is mainly about the shift controls for tone and volume being replaced by rotary controls. Away with the compromise to design fashion and back to optimum usability! The successor, Satellit 3000, came with digital frequency readout, so exit fully analogue.
Some minor flaws;
- some usage dents and scratches, see photo's
- light works, only fm light does not work, fm receiving does work.
- middels button broke of, see last photo. Still works though.
In very good vintage and working condition! Great sound!
The battery compartment is very clean.
All the chrome is very good condition.
