The wbx motor 1.9 & 2.1 are an icon in legend & uniqueness. It is a tad underpowered for modern roads but we have a complete fix for this. Introducing the 2.5wbx MV.

We are building more & more of these incredible 2.5wbx upgrades. 6 in the last year, we are taking up with orders for 2024.

Designed/Under License by GW in the USA, we have been developing their project even further, not with heavy tuning, but by building a bullet proof, reliable & strong WBX Motor for your Syncro or 2.1/2.3 wbx/Diesel caravelle.
An upgrade, which can be repaired anywhere if you get in trouble.....It's Original in every sense of the word.

For the Syncro crew, we needed a bigger engine. A genuine WBX! not a conversion! This is simply a major upgrade to the identical Engine/Motor. As said earlier, should you ever get trouble in Africa, Greece or Finland, someone will help you because it is still ALL original VW. The only thing that can go wrong is poor maintenance, the 2.5 is good for another 20 years, standard parts. It's a brand new Engine!, build here in Amsterdam.

Subaru/Golf/Audi/Seat motors etc are non 'original' conversions. All these engines were 'pullers', and did you ever realise that the wbx is a 'pusher'. (same as a Kever/Beetle). Conversions are very difficult to repair after a couple of years.  Not a T3 WBX.
If you want to truly keep the 'character', sound & value, you should take a good look at the 2.5 wbx.
It also sounds wonderful too. Deep voiced like a Porsche. Super power, super smooth and Original to The T3. No extra bits needed. It's a total Plug and Play! and new!
