Old Man Emu - Steering Stabilizer Landcruiser 80 1991-1997

As another integral component of the Old Man Emu 4WD suspension range, steering stabilisers are designed to reduce the effect of wheel vibration and improve the feel, handling and control of the vehicle.

OME Steering Stabilisers also work to combat the aggressive rotation of the steering wheel over rough roads, without affecting steering wheel return. This will give you a smoother ride by reducing the side-to-side motion, which will improve longevity steering system.

VALVING

Old Man Emu engineers have integrated 9 stage coil spring valving into the steering stabilisers, which work to provide optimum performance

PISTON ROD

Bolstered with a 15mm piston rod, the foundational strength of the Old Man Emu steering stabiliser is unparalleled

STONE GUARD

Equipped with a durable stone guard, the piston rod is heavily protected against potential surface and stone damage

INCREASED OIL VOLUME

Expertly designed with a 35mm piston and bore, which allows the stabiliser to have increased oil volume

ENGINEERED SEAL

Coming equipped with a multi lip seal, this engineered solution prevents oil loss

TWIN TUBE DESIGN

Utilising a twin tube design, the outer tube protects the internal components against stone damage and other potential damage

EASY TO INSTALL

The original stabiliser mounts are used where appropriate to provide an easier and quicker installation process
