Honda Insight 1.3 Hybrid AUT 2012 Grijs

Well, what can be said about this Honda Insight Executive line from 2012 with 106,000 km on the counter and a recently installed gas tank which drives 1 "liter" per 15 km and with petrol 1 per 19 km.

Has had all services and inspection report including maintenance booklet from Honda is present. Recent minor service and tires replaced (see photo).
If necessary, everything can be checked and double-checked.

This very economical car (in terms of shape comparable to the Toyota Prius but much cheaper) based on Japanese reliability has been adapted with a 3rd generation LPG installation from PRINS. This is because I wanted to drive as cheaply as possible. And that worked. For 80 cents you can fill up a liter at the pump and with 25 euros your tank is full to then be able to drive a good 480 km with it. The LPG drives so economically in combination with the hybrid engine. Double enjoyment.

There is no technical reason why I am selling the car. Not even the road tax or otherwise. I (Dutch) have moved to Bulgaria and exporting and importing is a difficult process that I do not wish to go through.

Am I therefore selling it for peanuts? No of course not, it is still being used.

In short, if you want a really economical, wonderfully driving car with rear parking sensors, an automatic that zooms wonderfully over all roads, then this car is certainly interesting.


All LPG connections for the Netherlands and Europe are present.

If you are SERIOUSLY interested, come by for a test drive! That is possible around Apeldoorn but also at my father's in Amsterdam.

Comes with MOT from around October 2025 and will pass a new MOT with flying colors.
