120 pag A good and clean copy. - This work appears as the ninth publication of the gerhardt Verlag Berlin in a second edition of 3000 copies. The image reproductions are based exclusively on the first versions of the original drawings; all changes caused by censorship have been disregarded. Apart from a German and an English private printing of a maximum of 200 copies each, the series of illustrations to Lysistrata by Aristophanes, to Vera Historia by Lucian and to Juvenal appear for the first time in a larger edition and without any censorship. The printing in 12 bodoni was completed in november 1966 by Wilhelm Möller KG, Berlin. The cover design after a drawing by Beardsley and the typography are by Christian Chruxin.
