The Victoria and Albert Museum holds the finest and most wide-ranging collection of post-classical sculpture in the world. This book contains over 100 of the greatest masterpieces of the National Collection of Sculpture at the Museum, each of which is described in detail and beautifully illustrated.
Through the book's pages it is possible to follow the development of sculpture from the Early Christian period to the beginning of the twentieth century.
