Ik kan me nog goed herinneren waar ik de naam H.P. Lovecraft voor het eerst tegenkwam. Dat was in 1971, toen Bruna met een geweldige pocket-serie begon, FEH-1: De Droomwereld van Kadath - geschreven door natuurlijk H.P. Lovecraft. Nog nooit van de goede man gehoord, maar na het lezen van dit boekje was ik verkocht en verslond alles waar de naam Lovecraft opstond - en was dolgelukkig toen ik ontdekte dat er een hele Cthulhu-mythos bestond waar veel schrijvers zich aan gewaagd hadden. En zo begon een eh, verslaving die na vijftig jaar nog steeds niet over is.
Over de jaren heb ik veel van mijn Lovecraft (en andere Weird-tales) verkocht - de boeken die ik hier plaats zijn de laatste. Ik nummer de advertenties - dan is het misschien makkelijker zoeken.
Mijn boeken zijn een mengeling van het goedkopere werk, met ook duurdere, gesigneerde (haha, nee, niet door Lovecraft jammergenoeg) gelimiteerde edities. Mijn Arkham House boeken zijn verkocht - behalve de set van drie, de eerste advertentie.
Ik heb niet de gewoonte mijn boeken kunstmatig hoog te prijzen om dan zogenaamde korting te geven zodat je het idee hebt een koopje te slaan. Nee, mijn boeken prijs ik naar wat ze naar mijn idee waard zijn. Ik prijs ze naar wat ik op het internet tegenkom, maar ook naar wat ik er zelf voor betaald heb.
Bij het kopen van meerdere boeken geef ik tien procent korting.
