Merlin: East German metal band founded in 1986 in Berlin. Split up in the early 1990s. They played melodic speed metal like the German metal band Helloween. During their live gigs they followed a concept of legend "Welt des Zauberers" (world of wizzard), legend of Knight Artus and Excalibur, about which most of their songs dealt.

Headless: German heavy / power metal band.
Founded as Metall in 1982, renamed to Headless in 1988.
Split up in 1992.
Original member Sven Rappoldt reformed the band in August 2013 under the old moniker, Metall.

Hardholz: German heavy / speed metal band founded in 1983 in Tambach-Dietharz.
At the beginning they played hard rock, but later changed their style to a heavier sound. First professional recordings took place in 1988. Another 8-track demo tape was recorded in 1991 and a CD "Jäger und Gejagte" (1995) was self-released, before they split up in 1997.
Since 2013 the band is active again.
