Background:
Killa Kidz were an underground hip-hop group from New York City who gained a small following in the 1990s but were largely overlooked by the mainstream.
Their music was primarily released on 12-inch singles before the "Streets is Real" CD compilation was released.
The group eventually disbanded, but their members went on to individual success:
Mr. Ruck became Ruc Da Jackal or The Jackal.
Psycho Child became Mr. Challish.
Baby Sham joined The Flipmode Squad.
Prince A.D. became known as Killa Sha and released several solo projects before his untimely death in 2010.
