Gare du Nord cd digipack Lilywhite soul 12 tracks

Barend Fransen and Ferdi Lancee, the men behind Gare Du Nord, came up with for their singer Dorona Alberti. This nickname refers not only to her milky white skin, but also refers to the new life that recently sprouted in her belly.


Alberti gave birth to a son at the end of July and the period of her pregnancy inspired Fransen and Lancee to write a dozen new songs. Compared to the earlier Gare Du Nord CDs, Lilywhite Soul has become a more personal album. Dorona's baby has made the band a lot more mature. Translated into music, this leads to a CD full of light pop jazz soul music.
