The surprise of 2005 was without a doubt James Blunt. The English singer / songwriter made his debut with his album Back To Bedlam, which made him the UK's best-selling artist of 2005. His single You're Beautiful became a huge hit, and the song also reached first place in the Netherlands. Initially success was delayed. In Great Britain, his first two singles did little, until that one song, and in the Netherlands it was no different. In May 2005 he was in front of a limited audience in the small hall of Paradiso, after the success of You're Beautiful, Blunt was in a sold-out Heineken Music Hall in January 2006.
