Early in 1965, after appearing at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, they were signed by Brian Epstein. They recorded a version of The Beatles ‘You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away’ on this day at IBC Studios in London. Three of the Beatles were involved in the Silkie's cover version of 'You've Got to Hide Your Love Away'. Paul McCartney contributed vocals and guitar, George Harrison added percussion via guitar taps and tambourine, and John Lennon did most of the producing,
