Having such a love for the band at the time i was therefore always on the look out for bbc performances. Some one at the bbc must have also liked the band as there were many great sessions.

Out would come my rather basic tape recorder and i would plug it into the back of radio. I have kept many of those tapes and a few years ago transferred them to cd along with a bootlegged recording of their final concert at bath in may 1970.

So i when i heard about this album the idea of at long last hearing a good quality version of the sessions made me rush off and purchase this dvd_audio what do you get? You get great blues and rock and roll. It is good. If you just listen to their studio albums you miss so much of what the band could do.

There were even some very pleasant surprises for me and you will get a good feel for what they could do.
