It comes with a paper-like screen protector that makes writing with the Apple Pencil (1st gen) feel more natural, like pen on paper. Whether you’re taking class notes, journaling, brainstorming, or sketching, this iPad is a great tool.

The iPad has always been kept in its case, and the screen is scratch-free. There are some very minor marks on the back from dust inside the case — purely cosmetic.

I’ve mostly used it for digital note-taking, browsing, reading. It’s not the fastest iPad anymore, so I wouldn’t recommend it for gaming or heavy multitasking.

I had hoped to use it for digital drawing, but didn’t really get into it. And it's just sitting on my desk gathering dust.
