- M.2 NVMe to PCIe 4.0 X4 adapter: By converting a PCIe X4/X8/X16 slot on the motherboard to the M.2 Key M slot, you can install M.2 NVMe SSD in this Key M slot.
- Without mounting bracket suitable for compact cases or 2U high cases. Suitable for horizontally positioned motherboards. If the motherboard is placed vertically, the adapter can tilt (due to the weight of the adapter + SSD).
- FCC and CE certified, highly reliable and stable PCIe X4 Full Speed: the speed of the M.2 NVMe SSD is not affected, just as if installed on the motherboard.
- No limit to the capacity of the M.2 NVMe SSD: Support 2T/4T (Note: Support 2230/2242/2260/2280 PCIe (NVMe/AHCI) 4.0/3.0 M.2 SSD, not support M.2 SATA SSD).
- To achieve PCIe 4.0 X4 (64Gbps) full speed, the CPU, PCIe slot on the motherboard, and the PCIe M.2 SSD all need PCIe 4.0 features (Note: PCIe 4.0 is not supported on Intel CPUs below 11th generation).
- Support OS Booting: Reinstall the operating system and set up BIOS/UEFI boot from this M.2 NVMe SSD (Note: Some motherboards are too old to support OS booting. In this case, M.2 NVMe SSDs can be used as storage drives)
- OS compatibility: Plug-and-play in Windows 11/10/8/Linux/Mac OS (Note: Windows 7 is not supported). The new M.2 NVMe SSD must be initialized and formatted before it can be recognized by the computer host.
