I'm selling my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS 10G OC (LHR version) as not working / for parts, or repair.
The card is booting but not detected, while the fans are working, the LED is lighting up.
This issue started recently, after regular usage. Bought new in April 2023, built into the new PC (MSI MEG Aegis Ti5 11TE-227MYS). I have never used the PC for mining or any other heavy lifting besides music production in Ableton or occasional Gaming on Steam.
In general the PC does not boot fully when the GPU is installed – there is a signal, however, no POST, no display. When the card is removed, the system starts normally.
The GPU has not been opened or tampered with (see pictures, warranty seal is on) – thermal pads, fans, and cooling system are intact. No visual damage on the board.Could be a dead VRM, memory controller, or something similar.
Ideal for repair experts or those seeking replacement parts.
Comes without box and cables, as it was in the PC when I bought it (all-in-one).
Selling as-is, no returns.
