Capellini Lotus Attesa High back leather swivel relax chair

The Lotus High back leather swivel relax chair designed by Jasper Morrison for the Cappellini label is a stylish, supremely functional example of contemporary furniture.

- Fully leather in mosterd green with removable headreast (magnetic)
- Swivel with four-spoke base in aluminium, variable tilting movement.

The beech multiply frame structure is covered in polyurethane of differing densities and is distinguished by fixed upholstery in leathers hot-pressed on polyurethane foam cushions. Lotus high also features a magnetic removable headrest made of the same leather as the structure. Lotus fits perfectly into both the domestic environment and various work situations.

A&W Designer of the Year in 2016 and recipient of the prestigious Noguchi Award in 2015, Morrison is regularly bracketed amongst the top designers in the world and he has worked with most of the continent's leading brands. Lotus was a collection commissioned by Cappellini in 2006, which sought to harness Morrison's ability to create dynamic, arrestingly original chair designs.

JASPER MORRISON
Born in London, Jasper Morrison graduated from the Royal College of Art, in London, and opened his first studio in 1986, when he also began a long and fruitful collaboration with Cappellini.

Today, Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo and is considered as one of the most successful industrial designers of the past few decades. His designs are represented in the MoMA in New York and other prominent museum collections around the world. Jasper Morrison infuses his projects with a minimalist elegance that makes them extremely modern, though they can also be considered essential archetypes with roots in the past, whereby function always comes before form.
