A comfortable and striking set of 2 armchairs, with seat and backrest made from (saddle) leather.
DESIGN BY MATTIAS STENBERG
The simple combination of leather and steel create a striking chair with an understated character. Näbb resembles a streamlined club chair, and offers the same level of comfort. The seat and backrest are made from a leather sheath suspended from the steel frame, which overlaps at the top and is stitched in place. The leather pieces are sourced from Tärnsjö Garveri.
( SINCE 1873, Tärnsjö Garveri, House of Leather supplies a very specialized market that demand only the highest premium vegetable tanned leather.
They operate their business with great respect for enviroment, craftsmen and a sustainable future.
A unique place with tannery and saddlery in the same house.)
About the Designer:
Designer Mattias Stenberg runs his own designstudio in Stockholm. Stenberg works within a variety of fields including interior architecture, furniture design and light design. Since the start of the studio in 2010, Stenberg has received several awards and mentions for his designs, including German Design Award, Good Design Award and Nordic Designer of the Year.
Nola industries:
Nola is a company focused on solving community problems through socially sustainable urban design solutions. They collaborate with others to create custom-designed furniture and products aimed at improving the safety, accessibility, and user experience of cities and urban spaces. Both armchairs are in very good vintage condition with minor signs of use. Ie light scratches on seating hardly visible.
