Classical Gobbi mobile is the third Montessori mobile introduced at around 2-3 months old. At this stage, babies continue exploring colors, begin to perceive depth, and start recognizing textured images.
Why is the Gobbi Mobile beneficial for your baby?
✅ Introduces the baby to depth perception.
✅ Helps develop an understanding of perspective.
✅ Teaches the concept of shades and gradients.
✅ Builds concentration.
✅ Gives parents a moment to relax - While your baby is concentrated on the mobile, you get some extra time to enjoy a cup of tea, or simply take a breath.
🌿 Made from natural and non-toxic materials
🌟 Perfectly balanced for smooth, natural movement
👶 Designed specifically for newborns’ early visual perception
❤️Handcrafted by a Montessori educator and mom
The five spheres in different shades of the same color create a gradient effect, mimicking how we see objects in perspective-from light to dark. This arrangement helps train the baby's vision and supports their ability to perceive depth.
Please note that it is not a toy, but a visual material. It is not meant to be touched by the baby. Requires adult supervision.
Montessori mobiles are introduced gradually, depending on the baby’s abilities and visual development. The classic approach includes four mobiles:
• Munari (from 2 weeks)
• Octahedrons (from 6 weeks)
• Gobbi (from 2-3 months)
• Dancers (from 3-4 months)
