You must be a hardcore denimhead to know about this brand. Rodeo Uncle is the pioneer in Japanese reproduction jeans industory, started in 1986 in Osaka as a store brand by the “Japanese Americana”/used clothing store “Lapine” located in Umeda since 1971. I remember, back in early 90s, Lapine had been already popular for some Americana followers, and was the only place in “Kita” area that had quality Americana clothings including their original jeans, when America-mura “Minami" was pretty much the area to go if you wanted to buy used or vintage stuff in Osaka. Yamane from Evisu used to be a store manager until he started Evisu in 1991 with the help of his colleague back then Tsuji who later became the founder of Full Count  in 1992. The brand could be also called the father of Osaka5!
