Released in 1995, the Martin 000-28EC was built to the exact specifications of the guitar that Eric Clapton played at his legendary MTV Unplugged show in 1992. This guitar laid the foundation for a long and successful partnership between Martin and Clapton.
The 000-28EC proved to be a great success and was to be an integral part of the range for the next three decades.

The Martin 000-28 offered here is number 11 of a total of almost 25,000 EC models produced to date.
The guitar was delivered with gold tuners. An absolute rarity.
The condition of the guitar is excellent. As the guitar, which we acquired from the first owner, was played a lot, it naturally shows some signs of use. However, these traces of use suit the guitar extremely well and give it a beautiful vintage flair.
The playability and sound are fantastic. The guitar has already been refretted.
