This D-28 is one of only 185 Authentics 1931 produced, an absolute dream 12 fret guitar with a breathtaking sound.
With its Adirondack spruce top and Madagascar rosewood body, it produces a unique and characteristic tone. The Adirondack spruce offers high density and rigidity, resulting in a powerful and resonant sound. This gives the guitar clear and defined tones, especially in the mids and highs, and allows for excellent dynamics.

The Madagascar rosewood of the body complements this tone with a warm and balanced sound profile. It delivers rich basses, silky mids and brilliant highs. This type of wood helps to ensure that the tones are evenly distributed across the entire frequency range and produce a wide palette of timbres.
