Mandolineorkest Entre Nous werd opgericht op 2 mei 1922 door Roelof Wassenaar, samen met drie vrienden. Roelof Wassenaar was de eigenaar van een muziekwinkel en muziekschool in de Lange Kerkstraat in Hoorn. Vele (oud) leden van Entre Nous zijn door hem opgeleid om de mandoline, mandola of gitaar te bespelen. Sinds 2008 staat Entre Nous onder de bezielende leiding van Jan van Deursen.
