Beschrijving

The Gibson F-25 Folksinger was introduced by Gibson in 1963 to replace the LG-3 model. It combines a compact 00-12- fret body with the rich tonal qualities that Gibson in known for.

This model, which is in excellent condition, can be dated to 1964, based on its serial number of on the back of the headstock

The most characteristic feature of the this guitar model is its white double pickguard.

The relatively wide nut width of 51 mm sets this guitar also apart from other vintage Gibson acoustics. It's a perfect guitar for singer songwriters and fingerstyle guitar players who appreciate the extra space between the strings.

The original -single line Klusion Deluxe -tuners are present.

Straight mahogany neck with RW fretboard and comfortable D profile. Action and playability are very good. The guitar did not have a neck reset and is also not in need of one. The frets are in good condition.

Original finish

Crack-free natural spruce top with a few dings and scratches compatible with normal play ware.

Crack-free mahogany back and sides, with playware

Original non modified RW belly up bridge.

Very clear interior with original braces and original maple bridge plate.

Comes with its original crocco style guitar case.
