Gitane D500 Gypsy Jazz gitaar — professioneel geüpgraded
Te koop: een Gitane D500 in goede staat, voorzien van hoogwaardige upgrades die deze gitaar ver boven het standaardniveau tillen.
Upgrades:
    •    Maurice Dupont Bigtone pickup — de pickup die gebruikt wordt door spelers als Stochelo Rosenberg en Bireli Lagrène. Volledig onzichtbaar ingebouwd in de brug, geen batterij nodig, uitstekende feedbackweerstand.
    •    Dupont DR tailpiece — met de hand gemaakt in Cognac, Frankrijk, op dezelfde apparatuur als de originele Busato tailpieces uit de jaren '30–'50. Uiterst solide, dempt ongewenste boventonen.
    •    Schaller 'Three on a Plate' stemsleutels — dezelfde tuners die Dupont gebruikt op zijn MD50-serie. Duits precisiewerk, 1:16 overbrenging, stabiel en soepel.
De gitaar heeft wat kleine gebruiksschraapjes maar speelt en klinkt geweldig. Nieuw in de winkel kost een ongeüpgradede D500 momenteel €1.350. De upgrades alleen zijn internationaal al €700+ waard.

For sale: a Gitane D500 in good condition, fitted with high-end upgrades that put it well above stock level.
Upgrades:
    •    Maurice Dupont Bigtone pickup — favoured by players like Stochelo Rosenberg and Bireli Lagrène. Invisibly integrated into the bridge, no battery required, excellent feedback resistance.
    •    Dupont DR tailpiece — handmade in Cognac, France, on the same equipment used to make original Busato tailpieces in the 1930s–50s. Extremely strong, mutes unwanted overtones.
    •    Schaller Three on a Plate tuners — the same tuners Dupont fits to his MD50-series guitars. German precision, 1:16 ratio, smooth and rock-solid.
The guitar has a few minor cosmetic scratches but plays and sounds great. A stock D500 currently retails new in Dutch shops for €1,350. The upgrades alone carry a combined international value of €700+.
