The R355GF features an alder body with a gravure top bolted to a maple Viper neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez
single-coil and a synchronized tremolo bridge with gold finish, a transparent pickguard and Gotoh locking tuning machines.

Made in Japan 1993. Guitar has a crack in paint layer that does not affect the sound. Pickups ahavebeen modified: The pickup in the center has a lower volume so needs to be reset. The one at the neck is a dimarzio and has a very warm sound, the one at bridge is probably an ibanez and has a punchy sound. Overall the sound is comparable to a stratocaster of medium/high level like made in japan. The playabiliy is excellent comparable to high level stratocaster (like made in japan or comparable/better then a MIM). The tuners are auto-blocking so it hardly gets out of tune. Strings are brand new 10-48 and neck is being oiled every other month. I sell cause I like to get an hollow body to try a different sound but honestly it has been a great guitar that just needs few tweeks to reach levels of guitar worth 1000-1500.
