For sale is my 6-string electric violin/viola - semi-hollow body wooden construction finished in a slightly shimmery black gloss. Active piezo pickup with volume and tone control, jack plus headphone output. Fine tuners on all strings. Excellent hard case with strap. Please note no bow is included, and it is in almost new condition but missing a c-string.
Bought for a soundtrack job and it worked well (especially via impulse responses). Lower strings are a bit flappy at such a short scale length, to be expected, but it’s still very effective. Compared to the Yamaha and Steinberger NS electric violin models, it is obviously not at the same construction quality but it is decent and the output sound is surprisingly close [I also have an NS WAV 4-string model]. I don’t need this one anymore so it’s for sale!
